General

Assigns a command to a key. Makes a key run a command when you press it, for example a buy bind or a key to throw the last grenade again. Put the key name and the command between quotes if the command has spaces.

bind f "+lookatweapon"

Syntax

bind <key> "<command>"

Examples

bind f "+lookatweapon"
bind kp_end "buy ak47; buy m4a1"

How to use bind in CS2

  1. Enable the developer console in Settings › Game › Enable Developer Console.
  2. Press ~ to open the console, type the command and press Enter.
  3. To apply it every time you launch CS2, add the line to an autoexec.cfg file in your cfg folder.
